AES manufactures and maintains a supply of API standard docking cones for the stabilization and alignment of an ROV modular skid. The hydraulically actuated docking cone connects to a receptacle and serves as an interface between objects for such purposes as tree and piletop landings, pile alignment, docking to subsea tooling systems, and as a component installed on a Tool Deployment Unit (TDU).

Our docking cone is built to API/ISO 13628-8 Figure 7 standards for guaranteed ROV compatibility, no matter the application. Seanic can also provide the matching female mating receptacle that can be mounted on the tree or pile for orientation and simplified interface purposes.
